Origin Meat started in 2008 and has steadily grown to become one of the leading meat wholesalers in Sydney, supplying high quality meat to those who care about where their produce comes from. Quality assurance and food safety are our top priority. Origin Meat is HACCP certified, complying with all the international standards of food safety.

This stringent food safety programme means we have quality controls in place at every stage of our food processing, to maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

After all, the premium meat we work with deserves to be treated with the utmost respect.

MSA

Meat Standards Australia (MSA) was developed by the Australian red meat industry to improve the eating quality consistency of beef and sheepmeat. The system is based on almost 1.2 million consumer taste tests by more than 171,000 consumers from 11 countries and takes into account all factors that affect eating quality from the paddock to plate.

MLA supports MSA program participants through creating opportunities for businesses to adopt eating quality principles.

We have many quality and safety protocols in place throughout our business at every stage of transporting, handling and preparation of our premium meat.

Our premises are regularly inspected by the NSW Food Authority to ensure the food we produce, process, store and distribute meets the highest standard. Theirs, and yours.
